Kawika Shoji
Kawika Shoji is an investment advisor and portfolio manager at Regency Capital. He advises individuals, retirement plans, and institutions to assess, develop, and implement their investment and financial goals.
Kawika was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Iolani School and Stanford University. At Stanford, Kawika earned a degree in political science and minor in communications while leading the varsity volleyball team to the 2010 NCAA Championship. He was named the 2010 National Player of the Year and was also the recipient of both the Stanford University Bill Walsh Leadership Award and the Stanford University Donald Kennedy Award, going to the senior athlete who best exhibits the combination of excellent academics, strong athletic ability and a commitment to community service. Kawika then went on to complete a 12-year international professional volleyball career with stints in Finland, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Poland, and Italy. He also played in two Olympic Games with the USA National Team, medaling in 2016 and captaining the 2020 squad. During his time abroad, Kawika earned a Master degree in Sport Psychology and served on the USA Volleyball Board of Directors.
Kawika is an avid golfer, reader, and life-long learner. He resides in Honolulu with his wife and two daughters.
